What is the weather going to be like? Vietnam is generally hot and humid in September – October. One can expect tropical rain and showers during this time. December through February the weather is often cooler and drier warming up considerably in March and April. We recommend wearing light, breathable clothes for your adventure.
What are the daily rides like?
The activity level for this trip is Moderate. The average daily ride is about 40 miles, with 800 feet of climbing. The terrain is mostly rolling hills with a few short steep hills, with quiet winding roads. Options are available for riding more or fewer miles, and remember your Trek Travel guides and support vehicle are always close behind! Please speak with your guides if you require additional ride options or activities.
What are the options for a non-rider travel companion?
Whether you want to ride 1 or 100 miles, Trek Travel
has completely flexible daily options to meet your desires. We offer
many non-riding options for riders who, perhaps, want to take the
afternoon off, or travel companions who want to spend little or no time
in the saddle. Some non-riding options for this trip are:
- Hit the beach
- Opt to visit the spa
- Local visits to different sites
- Market visits, wander among the various local tradespeople
- Shopping
- Hire a local guide for the day
- Take a cyclo ride (someone else does the pedaling)
- Jump on the back of a Xe Om (motorbike where you sit behind the driver)
- Tai chi
- Yoga
