Accommodations

The Inn at Brevard | Brevard
The inn was built in 1885 as the private residence of a wealthy Virginia widow. In 1940 this southern mansion was converted to an inn; it is on the National Register of Historic Places and is furnished with period antiques along with an impressive art collection dating from the Renaissance. An adjacent lodge houses eight additional rooms. The large porch and garden beckon guests to relax and enjoy the comforts of the inn, while the sunny breakfast room offers a beautiful place to start the day. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, each with a private bath. Being a guest of the inn also gives you the opportunity to see Slatton Falls, the largest privately-owned waterfall in the southeastern U.S. The waterfall is 600 feet (183 meters) from top to bottom and is located on 100 acres of property adjacent to the inn and bordered on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest.
