Previous Life
I worked in a bike shop, I was a property tax assessor, I was a basketball official, and I coached kids' camps for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mostly, I did things that weren't as awesome as guiding bike tours.
Passions
Bikes really. Everything else I do seems to come back to it. I love traveling places to ride my bike, shooting photographs and video of bikes, working on bikes, and talking about bikes. I’m driven by kinetic energy. I love when I’m moving, when things are changing, and when I’m surrounded by lots of people.
Favorite Trip
Vermont - Fall is my favorite season, and I love spending it in a region renowned for its fall foliage. The people are great, the riding is great. It's my home away from home.
Key Possession
My MacBook Air - it is my connection to my friends all over the world, it contains many years of travel memories in the form of photos and writing, and it is home to my music collection.
