Previous Life

I worked at Penn Cycle, a Trek dealer in Minnesota, immediately prior to working for Trek Travel. I also spent a couple years working for the Ramsey County tax department, as well as reffing high school and college basketball and working for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Passions

Bikes really. Everything else I do seems to come back to it. I love traveling places to ride my bike, shooting photographs and video of bikes, working on bikes, and talking about bikes. I’m driven by kinetic energy. I love when I’m moving, when things are changing, and when I’m surrounded by lots of people.

Favorite Trip

As a guide, my favorite trip was working the Giro d’Italia in the Dolomites. The riding there is spectacular. When you add the excitement of the race and being surrounded by great people, it’s a truly fantastic trip.

My computer. It has my music, my photos, and my connection to friends and family regardless of where in the world I am.
