We take numerous steps to ensure that your bike is tailored to fit you.
It is an intricate and deliberate process….

We start with a selection of bikes designed for the way you like to ride. A quality ride comes from enjoying a bike designed with the geometry and materials that are specifically chosen to suit a particular spirit of travel. This is why we opted to forgo a fleet filled with one ‘adaptable’ bike and offer the broadest selection of bikes in the active travel industry. Whether you’re a traveler who likes to ride, a rider who likes to travel….or an off-road warrior—we’ve got your ride. (Details below)
We boast a range of frames built for bodies of all sizes. Not only do we provide a variety of frame sizes, but we’ve gone one step further and added a selection of road bikes specifically designed to the proportions of a woman. You won’t find this breadth of selection with any other active travel company.
We match you to a pre-trip bike tailor! Fitting someone to a bike is an art form that takes time and precision. Before you set off on your Trek Travel trip, we match you to a Trek Dealer who will fit you to one of our bikes. Armed with your specific measurements, our guides will set up your bike so that it is ready and waiting for you!
Once on the trip our highly trained guides customize your bike to you. Not everyone will have the chance to do a pre-trip measurement, so we can do it for you when you arrive. With a large selection of equipment, we customize your bike to fit your body and riding style, maximizing your comfort and performance. (We even have those cushy seats!) Even if your fitting was completed by a Trek Dealer, we take the time to fine-tune every last adjustment.
The final check is a fitting on the fly. To ensure your bike is personalized to your riding style we must see you ride! On our first ride of the trip, our guides assess the fit and make subtle alterations, sometimes on the road, so that your ride is simply perfect.

The In-Between Tuning

In between trips and in between each ride, our guides and mechanics carefully examine, fine-tune and overhaul your bike to ensure continuity so that each ride is smooth, responsive and safe.

		All New Madone® 5.2 OCLV Carbon Fiber Road Bike Completely redesigned for 2008, the All New Madone is the official bike of the Astana Pro Cycling Team. The integrated headset and bottom bracket, as well as new Shimano Ultegra SL components are some of the features of this completely redesigned bike, built to be the absolute best in the industry. For smaller kids, the Mt. Track 60 is the perfect fit. The aluminum mountain bike frame includes a suspension fork and 6-speed shifting–enough to keep the most curious of kids active.
