It is here nestled in the four walls of this elegant hotel that the Marquis de Sade organized his first Theatre Festival. During the Revolution the Marquis was declared persona non grata in Mazan. The family archives were then destroyed and the Château damaged. For years the Château passed through many hands until finally in 2001 it was purchased by Madame Lhermie who transformed it into the relaxing oasis that it is today. You will feel completely at home in this 18th century castle.
