How to Play The contest begins on February 15, 2008 and ends on December 31, 2008. To enter, simply submit the registration form at TrekTravel.com. Limit one entry per person. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
The Prize A spot for the winner and his or her guest on a Trek Travel vacation to the Oregon Coast. The winner and his or her guest must choose the same trip. Exact trip date is subject to availability. The trip includes double occupancy hotel accommodations for 6 days / 5 nights, 5 dinners, 5 lunches, all snacks and drinks for each day’s ride, a social hour most evenings, daily route support (and experienced guides), use of a Trek Madone 5.2 OCLV carbon fiber road bike or Trek 7.5 FX hybrid, entrance fees to all group and individual events, complimentary Trek merchandise, and all gratuities for scheduled events. Airfare and transportation to the trip start and from the trip end are NOT included. The trip has an approximate retail value of $2,500 to $3,000 per person.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and a legal U.S. resident, or at least 19 and a legal Canadian resident (except for the province of Quebec, where this offer is void). Employees of Trek, its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retail dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other individual or entity directly involved with this sweepstakes, including immediate family members or those living in the same household, are not eligible. All federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply.
Odds and Notice to Winner
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be selected by Trek Travel via a random drawing on January 8, 2009 and will be posted on www.trektravel.com. The winner will be notified by Trek Travel within 7 days of the drawing. Conditions and Limitations All entries become the property of the Trek Travel, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, and no cash equivalent is offered, except at the sole discretion of Trek Travel. In the event of online technical malfunctions, or any Internet or systems-related problems, neither Trek Travel, nor its affiliates shall have any liability. Winner and Guest will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release upon notification, to be returned within 10 days, or an alternate winner may be selected. Winner and Guest must comply with all Trek Travel policies prior to and during the trip, including signing a Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks form. All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes on prizes offered, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering, all entrants agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of entrant’s participation in this promotion, and/or the receipt, use, or misuse of the prizes awarded herein.
