Experience the thrill of riding an entire stage of the 'tour de france' one week before the pros in the famous Etape du Tour cyclosportive, or mass-participation bicycle ride. Trek is a major sponsor of the event and Trek Travel has guaranteed entries for guests seeking the much sought after, but difficult to attain entry spots. This year’s exhilarating route covers Stage 10 of the 'tour de france' from Pau to Hautacam, climbing the magnificent Col du Tourmalet along the way. Enjoy the unique opportunity to ride in a paceline with the president of Trek Bicycles, John Burke, and the president of Trek Travel, Tania Worgull, who will both be participating with you. Biarritz and the Basque Country will provide a spectacular coastal setting prior to the event, and following the Etape, guests will be immersed in the wine culture of enchanting St. Emilion.
